The Science of Breathable Nail Polish
Where Science Meets Beauty
MineVital Breathable Nail Polish is a scientific innovation that blends beauty with real personal care — designed for health, hygiene, and faith-conscious living. Its special chemical structure lets water vapour pass through to the nail surface.
How Does It Work?
Unlike traditional polishes, MineVital uses thermoplastic polymers that form amorphous regions in the dried film — microscopic breathable channels. Water vapour passes through while colour and shine stay intact.
The Role of Polyolefin Plastomer (POP)
A key carrier is Polyolefin Plastomer (POP), a next-generation polymer known for stable, long-lasting permeability. POP's industrial uses also prove its breathability:
- Hygienic baby diapers
- Breathable shoe membranes
- Medical textiles
- Food packaging
- Breathable construction materials (e.g., roof insulations)
Combined with Polyethylene (PE), the formula keeps air channels open and prevents breathable paths from collapsing over time.
Inspired by Proven Breathability Systems
- Moisture-wicking athletic wear
- Hydrogel contact lenses
- Medical-grade breathable tapes
- Porous tiles and eco-asphalt
- Breathable paint and insulation materials
Health & Religious Compatibility
- Helps prevent yellowing and nail weakening
- Allows water to reach the nail for wudu (ablution)
Independently Tested at a European Laboratory
MineVital Formula F6345 was independently tested at SGS SERCOVAM (Cestas, France), a COFRAC-accredited third-party testing laboratory, under NF ISO 2528 — the dish method for determining water vapour transmission rate of sheet materials.
The complete test report is published on our certificates page — you can verify the measurements yourself.
