Proof, Not Claims

Breathable and water-based polish: independent lab measurements and simple tests you can do at home.

Breathable & Water-Based Nail Polish | Explained With Lab Data

Is "breathable nail polish" a slogan or a measurable fact? In this video we set the claims aside and look at the data.

Two layers:
• Breathable (acetone-based) polish — an independent lab (SGS SERCOVAM, ISO 2528 method, 38°C / 90% RH) measured water-vapour permeability: ≈180–195 g/m²/day. A real, if invisible, permeability.
• Water-based polish — this time a visible test: the film letting water pass, shown through simple household experiments.

Our aim isn't to exaggerate, it's to measure. The numbers and tests are on screen; the conclusion is yours.

An independent lab measured it (SGS, ISO 2528): ≈180–195 g/m²/day water-vapour permeability. Not a slogan — a number.
